India remains one of the key importers of Ukrainian sunflower oil. The demand from this country varies significantly depending on the season, price and availability of sunflower oil compared to other oils (primarily palm oil, but also soybean and rapeseed oils). A considerable share of Ukrainian sunflower oil is exported to China. However, China has reduced its imports of many crops, including oil from Ukraine.

Additionally, through the state border, the movement of 26.1 million tons of goods via pipelines and 6,237.5 GWh of electricity via power lines was recorded, which is 8.1% less and 2.9 times more, respectively, than in 2023.
