At an online meeting, representatives of the State Production and Consumer Service and the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan discussed changes in the Azerbaijani legislation on the import of food products and forage, including materials and products in contact with food products, effective from February 1.

The parties discussed the next steps regarding Ukraine's confirmation of the equivalence of state control over the production of food products to Azerbaijani legislation and the procedure for entering Ukrainian food producers into the list of permitted exporters of food products to Azerbaijan under the guarantee of the State Production and Consumer Service.

For today, 16 forms of veterinary certificates for export from Ukraine to Azerbaijan have been agreed between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
