JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” in cooperation with its subsidiary UZ Cargo Poland has launched a regular freight service that will provide convenient connection between the ports of Ukraine and Romania.

As part of the new service, a comprehensive transportation of oversized cargo – sheet metal – has already been carried out from the port of Constanța to the Perechyn station in direct traffic.

The new logistics route opens additional opportunities to attract customers, which is particularly important amid declining freight volumes and industry revenues.

Transportation is carried out through the border crossings Halmeu and Dyakovo, which ensures flexibility and reliability of connections between the ports of Romania and Ukraine.
