According to the results of the 2024/2025 marketing year (MY), Moldova became the largest importer of Ukrainian flour, purchasing 23.5 thousand tons.

In the export structure of the 2024/2025 MY, the wheat flour indicator reduced to 66.7 thousand tons, while in the previous season Ukrainian producers supplied 92.5 thousand tons. At the same time, about 46% of the export volume fell to EU countries.

In January-June 2025, Ukraine has imported potatoes, carrots, beets, cabbage and onions for a total of $152 million.

The largest increase in potato supplies was 7.9 times, to 121.6 thousand tons. It was purchased for $65.1 million, which is 6.9 times more than last year. The largest supplier was Poland – 36.5% ($23.8 million), followed by Egypt (13.7%, $8.9 million) and the Netherlands (11.7%, $7.6 million).

In January-June 2025, the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine (ECA) supported exports worth UAH 7,38 billion. Compared to the same period in 2024, the figure increased by more than 60% – last year it amounted to UAH 4,6 billion.
