In January-June 2025, Ukraine has imported 7.2 thousand tons of pork, which is 4.5 times more than in the same period last year. In monetary terms, import in the first half of this year amounted to $18,3 million – 4,5 times more than in the same period in 2024.

In January-June this year, pork was imported mainly from Denmark (67.3%), Poland (14.2%) and the Netherlands (7.7%). Export of pork in the first half of 2025 increased by 33.3% compared to the same period last year – up to 1.6 thousand tons. In monetary terms, export brought in $4.5 million, which is 50% more than in the first half of 2024. In January-May of this year, domestic pork was supplied mainly to the UAE (31.7%), Hong Kong (24.7%), and Bahrain (15.1%).
