Ukraine has agreed with the European Union to renew the free trade agreement, which allows for the preservation of trade volumes achieved during the period of autonomous trade preferences.

From January to May 2025, Ukraine imported 5,400 tons of pork, a 3.9-fold increase compared to the same period last year. In monetary terms, pork imports for the five months of this year reached $13.5 million, a 3.6-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024. The majority of pork imports came from Denmark (69.7%), Poland (12.4%), and the Netherlands (8%).
