Ukraine received 1 billion UAH in subsidies for agricultural producers

As part of the implementation of the Emergency Project for Providing Inclusive Support for the Recovery of Ukraine’s Agricultural Sector (ARISE), Ukraine received the third tranche of over 1 billion UAH aimed at supporting Ukrainian farmers.

Currently, payments are being made in three areas of state support:

  • Budget subsidy per unit of cultivated agricultural land (1 hectare) for applicants engaged in agricultural activities;
  • Special budget subsidy for maintaining dairy and beef cattle (cows) of all productivity types;
  • Special budget subsidy for maintaining herds of goats and/or sheep.

Payments to applicants are being made by the Ukrainian State Fund for Support of Farmers, with completion planned by the end of July.

Subsidies will be received by farmers registered in the State Agrarian Register who submitted applications for support on time and in compliance with all legal requirements, did not receive such support last year, and are included in the lists of aid recipients approved by resolutions of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
