In the south of Odesa region the railway workers restored the section of railway connection between Berezino (Ukraine) and Bessarabka (Moldova) bypassing the self-proclaimed Transnistria. It completely stopped its functioning in 1997. On August 2022 the transport connection between these two stations was launched. 

On the border of Ukraine and Poland, with the participation of the team of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and representatives of the Polish government, the updated checkpoint "Krakivets - Korchova" was put into operation.

As part of the project, traffic lanes for cars and trucks were updated, pavilions for customs and passport control were modernized, and the access road (A-4) near the checkpoint was expanded.

For the first half of 2022, the export of goods from Ukraine amounted to 22,7 billion dollars, or 76% of last year's figure. At the same time, imports decreased by 19,1% to 25,2 billion dollars in annual terms. The negative balance of trade amounted to 2,5 billion dollars against 1,2 billion dollars in the first half of 2021.

The first two foreign vessels successfully arrived at the Chornomorsk port in Odesa region, which was unblocked within the framework of the "grain agreement".

Thus, the "grain corridors" in the Black Sea have become possible in both directions - ships not only leave Ukraine, but also enter its ports.

Now the number of vessels that export Ukrainian food may exceed 80 a month.
