Ukraine increased export of agricultural products by more than 22% in July

In July 2022, Ukraine exported 2,66 million tons of grains, legumes, oilseeds and their processing products, which is 22,7% more than in the previous month. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

"In July 2022, Ukraine exported 2.66 million tons of grains, legumes, oilseeds and their processing products (excluding rapeseed), which is 492.7 thousand tons, or 22.7% more than in the previous month," - the message says. It is noted that wheat exports more than tripled in July to about 412 000 tons compared to 138 400 tons that were sent for export in June.

Ukraine also shipped 183 000 tons of barley for export, which exceeds the volume of 26 000 tons of this cereal exported a month earlier.

The actual export of corn increased in July by 84,7 thousand tons compared to June and amounted to 1,1 million tons. The export of sunflower amounted to 362,1 thousand tons, which is almost 33% less than in June this year.

The supply of soybeans during July amounted to 141,55 thousand tons, compared with almost 71,3 thousand tons in June 2022.

At the same time, the export of soybean oil decreased in July to 15 700 tons from 18 000 tons last month. The actual export of sunflower oil amounted to 307 thousand tons for the month, which is 39,4 thousand tons more than in June.

As for forage Ukraine shipped 141,5 thousand tons to foreign markets in July, which is 48,3 thousand tons more than in June.
