The licensing of imports of grains and oilseeds from Ukraine, which Moldovan farmers had insisted on continuing, will not be extended in 2026.
Imports will be carried out under the regular commercial regime, but will be subject to stricter controls to avoid significant market imbalances.

In January–October 2025, Ukraine maintained its position in the top five largest suppliers of iron ore to Turkey despite a significant reduction in shipments.
