Despite shipments more than halving, the country continues to be among the main partners.

In January–October 2025, Ukraine maintained its position in the top five largest suppliers of iron ore to Turkey despite a significant reduction in shipments. Over the 10 months, Turkish companies imported 487.9 thousand tons of Ukrainian iron ore, which is more than twice less compared to the same period in 2024, when volumes exceeded 1.09 million tons.
