Ukraine has agreed with Slovakia to work out the cancellation of unilateral restrictions on Ukrainian agricultural products as soon as possible.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal following the results of the Ukrainian-Slovak negotiations in Mykhailivtsi.

During January-March 2024, Ukraine has imported goods for the amount of 16 billion US dollars, and has exported goods for the amount of 10 billion US dollars.
Taxed import amounted to 13,8 billion US dollars, which is 86% of the total volume of imported goods.
The tax burden on 1 kg of taxed imports in January-March 2024 was 0,49 US dollars/kg, which is 8% more than in the same period of 2023.
