In January-March 2025, Ukraine imported 2,500 tons of lard, pork fat, and poultry fat, a 37.5% decrease compared to the first quarter of the previous year.
In monetary terms, $2.9 million was spent on importing lard and fat, which is 46.3% less than in the same period of 2024. The largest suppliers of lard, pork fat, and poultry fat to Ukraine in the first quarter 2025 were Poland (80.1%), Spain (10.5%), and the Netherlands (7.1%).
