Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution dated March 9, 2022 № 234, on the uninterrupted supply of imported food and forage under the martial law.

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine resolves:

To establish that for the period of martial law imposed by the Decree of the President of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 № 64 “About the martial law in Ukraine”:

Establishing of alternative logistics for the export of domestic agricultural products

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky went to Odesa region within his working visit. One of the priority spheres of the Ministry’s work is sowing campaign as well as solving the problem of logistics for food export.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the State Food and Consumer Service opened or reopened access to foreign markets in 21 countries

During 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the State Food and Consumer Service opened or reopened access to foreign markets for 81 groups of Ukrainian goods in 21 countries and helped more than 200 Ukrainian companies to start exporting or start working abroad.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba during a briefing on November 17, presenting the successes of Ukrainian diplomacy in 2021.

Export and import of goods increased by a third

In January-October 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, import of goods increased by 32,1% to 57,03 billion US dollars, export - by 37,5% to 54,47 billion US dollars.
