The "Danube Grain Route" project has been launched in Ukraine

PJSC "Ukrainian Danube Shipping Agency" (UDSA) responded to Russia's abandonment from the "Grain Corridor" agreement by launching the "Danube Grain Route" project.

UDSA invested in the creation of its own grain transshipment, and also agreed with Romanian partners - the TTS group of companies - on a faster and more efficient transshipment scheme at the port of Constanța.

It is about "safe and guaranteed delivery of agricultural products from a river port immediately to a sea vessel of a large tonnage. Due to a faster process of loading and unloading, the average turnover time of the caravan will be reduced by approximately 30%.

An important component of the project is to equip ships with online control systems, video surveillance and increase the number of shipmasters in the crew.

The construction of new barges is expected at the second stage of the project implementation.
