Over the past 4 years, Ukraine has turned from an importer of turkey meat into an exporter. Due to the war, the domestic demand for turkey meat reduced, which allowed to change the vector of trade. During 2019-2021, the main importers of these Ukrainian products were Moldova (almost half of the volume), Benin, and Azerbaijan. In 2022, supplies have increased in 7 times. In 7 months of this year, 4,4 thousand tons of turkey meat were exported, which is almost the figure for 2022.

The U.S., through USAID, will provide financing for the construction of 75-kilometer (47-mile) segment of dually gauged rail which will connect Lviv with the Trans European Network for Transport  with a total amount of 225 million US dollars. Ukrainian railways use a gauge of 1520 mm, while the railways of European countries have a standard gauge of a smaller width - 1435 mm. Because of this, wagons have to be overloaded at border railway crossings.

Ukrainian sugar export in November 2023 amounted to 73 000 tons, compared to 76 000 tons in the previous month (which was the highest value for one calendar month in recent years), so in the first 2 months of the new season, export amounted to almost 150 000 tons.

Considering available logistics capacities, Ukraine is able to export 70-100 thousand tons of sugar per month, so the current indicators are close to the maximum.
