Export of agricultural products on the western borders reduced by 20%

During the first eight days of April, there was a reduce in export shipments by automobile transport.

From April 1 to April, 8 97 000 tons of agricultural products were exported by automobile transport across the western borders, which is 20% less than in March (121 000 tons) and 40% less than in February (158 000 tons).

The largest volume of transportation of agricultural products is seen on the Romanian border - 32 thousand tons and the Moldovan border - 26 thousand tons, the smallest - on the Slovak border, only 7 thousand tons and the Polish border - 9 thousand tons. The average daily rate of passage through all checkpoints is 12 000 tons. Sunflower oil – 15 000 tons and sugar – 14 000 tons are the largest export by automobile transport.

  Market tariffs for automobile transportation to Europe in April reduced in average by €10-15, depending on the direction. Prices for transportation to ports remain practically unchanged.

• western Ukraine - central / northern Italy @115-135€;

• western Ukraine - northern Bulgaria @€65-97;

• western  Ukraine - easternGermany @€105-135;

• Ukraine - southern Romania @75-100€;

• central Ukraine - Ukr. Danube ports @$45-50;

• central Ukraine - Ukr. Odesa ports @ $25-37.
