Ukrainian export of sunflower oil in August 2023 amounted to almost 450 000 tons, which is a higher indicator for the last month of the season. In total, in the 2022/23 season (from September 2022 to August 2023), Ukraine has exported more than 5,6 million tons of sunflower oil. The indicator is significantly higher than 2021/22 marketing year export, which was 4,5 million tons, and forecasts for the current year, which were estimated at 3,9 million tons (USDA).

The Netherlands Agency for Entrepreneurship has announced a program of state subsidies for Dutch and international companies that are ready to invest in projects to restore Ukraine. Companies are offered compensation from EUR 500,000 to EUR 5 million. The total amount of subsidies is 25 million euros. In monetary terms, export for seven months this year reduced by 44% - to 292,8 thousand US dollars, as compared with January-July 2022.
