The Government of Slovakia decided to temporarily stop the grain and other agricultural products imports from Ukraine. The decision was made during the Government online-meeting following the recent discovery of 1,500 tons of pesticide-contaminated grain imported from Ukraine.
The ban will come into force on April 19. At the same time Slovakia didn’t limit transit of Ukrainian agricultural products to the third countries through its territory.
