Canada and Ukraine expanded the Free Trade Agreement

Ukraine and Canada have agreed to expand the Free Trade Agreement. In particular, 18 chapters were agreed, 9 of which were completely new. They relate to services’ trade, financial and telecommunications services, investment, trade and gender equality, indigenous peoples, appropriate regulatory policies, and the development and administration of SME measures.

The modernized agreement is expected to increase bilateral trade and open up new economic opportunities for businesses. Besides this, Canada and Ukraine concluded an Agreement on Youth Mobility, which will facilitate travel and employment for young people from both countries.
