The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency of the World Bank Group (MIGA) and the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have signed an Agreement, according to which MIGA will give up to 200 million USD in trade finance guarantees. 

The main beneficiary of the Agreement will be Ukraine, where the initial MIGA guarantee for EBRD will be immediately used to support trade finance.

According to the forecast of the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club (UCAB), in 2023 Ukrainian farmers will be able to export no more than 20 million tons of grain.

The reason for the reduce in export will primarily be the reduce in this year's harvest. According to the association's forecasts, the grain harvest in Ukraine in 2023 will amount to 34 million tons. In total, 53 million tons of grain and oilseeds will be harvested in Ukraine in 2023.

According to the results of 2022, Ukrainian manufacturers exported furniture for the amount of 806,6 million US dollars, which is 244,5 million US dollars or 23% less than in 2021, but more than in the quarantine year of 2020.
