In 2022, 36 Ukrainian companies including 31 manufacturers of food products, received the right to export to EU countries. In total, 429 Ukrainian companies have the right to export their products to the countries of the European Union. Among them 168 are manufacturers of food products.

Besides, last year 322 Ukrainian enterprises passed phytosanitary procedures and received the right to export their products to China.

Fertilizer import volumes in February 2023, compared to January, doubled to 233 000 tons. Importers imported mainly nitrogen fertilizers, and the import of complex fertilizers also doubled. Potash and micro-fertilizers were left out of the attention of importers.

Sales of cattle for slaughter in January amounted to 24,8 thousand tons, which is 7,26% less than in the same period last year. Compared to the previous month, the slaughter reduced by approximately 3,5 times. According to the preliminary information, in January, enterprises have sold 8,1 thousand tons of cattle for slaughter, which is 11,11% less than in January 2022. Farms produced 16,7 thousand tons of beef, which is 5,39% less than a year ago.
