The September export of skimmed milk powder and casein became a record for a very long period. Despite the difficulties with logistics, the statistics of the export of dairy products seems excellent. In the three quarters of 2022, sales of skimmed milk powder increased by 65%, butter by 37%, casein by 48%. Even cheese sales increased by 39%. And this is all thanks to the opening of the EU market for Ukraine.

In January-August 2022, Ukrainian export of meat products increased by 20% compared to the corresponding period last year - from 519 million US dollars up to 624 million dollars. The main reason for this was the continued increase in the value of external sales of poultry meat to 586 million US  dollars, which was 33% higher than last year's figure. At the same time, in natural terms, the export of this product reduced to 10% - by 264 thousand tons.

The Government made the relevant decision at a meeting on September 27. The resolution provides for prohibition of the export outside the customs territory of Ukraine of goods under foreign economic contracts, the trade or country of destination of which is the russian federation.

In January-August 2022, Ukraine exported 263,5 thousand tons of meat and edible poultry offal, which is 10,6% less than in the same period last year. In monetary terms, export for January-August this year amounted to 585,8 million US dollars. This is 32% more than for the same period in 2021.
