Britain will continue duty-free trade with Ukraine until 2029

Britain has said it will continue duty-free trade with Ukraine for almost all goods until 2029, giving Kyiv further favorable trading terms after the russian invasion. Britain abolished  tariffs on all its trade with Ukraine after the full-scale invasion 2 years ago, and they previously agreed that the arrangement would last until March 2024.

The British Department of Business and Trade said that duty-free trade would be extended for 5 years for all goods, with the exception of eggs and poultry meat (these ones for 2 years), and that British companies would also benefit from the elimination of tariffs for export to Ukraine.

Britain supports Ukraine's war effort with weapons and humanitarian aid, as well as favorable trade conditions, including a new digital trade deal.
