During the first 13 days of January, the average daily transfer of grain wagons at Ukraine’s western border crossings amounted to 171 wagons per day – 7.6% less than in December.
The weakest indicators were recorded at the borders with Poland (5.6 wagons per day, -6.3) and Romania (5.3 wagons per day, -2.6). Slovakia remained stable at 28.2 wagons per day, while Hungary demonstrated steady growth – 57.7 wagons per day (+6.1).

Last year, Ukraine exported 129.2 thousand tons of eggs, which is 66.1% more than in 2024. In monetary terms, exports increased 2.8 times, reaching $205.8 million.
The largest importers of Ukrainian eggs were Spain (18.8%), the United Kingdom (14.1%) and Czech Republic (11%).

The largest consumer of Ukrainian iron ore traditionally remains China. During the year, shipments to China amounted to 16.41 million tons (+8.7% y/y). Exports to Slovakia reached 4.4 million tons (-11.4% y/y), while deliveries to Poland totaled 4.17 million tons (-18.1% y/y).
