The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, V. Koval stated that compared to 2023, the volume of agricultural exports increased by 12.5%, or by 2.7 billion dollars.
This growth was largely driven by an increase in the volumes of some of the largest categories of agricultural exports - grain crops (up by 1.1 billion dollars) and oilseed crops (up by 0.5 billion dollars).
In 2024, Ukraine’s total exports reached 41.6 billion dollars, of which 24.6 billion dollars came from the export of agri-food products.
This is 59% of total exports, which makes it possible to maintain national reserves, the hryvnia exchange rate, and therefore, to restrain inflation in the country.
