Volume of grain exports by rail in May increased by 2%

For 26 days of May, 2 million 366 thousand tons of grain cargoes were transported by rail for export. This is 2.1% higher than the figure for the same period in April.

92% of the specified volume was transported towards the ports. Another 8% — through western border crossings.

In total, for 26 days of May, 2 million 604 thousand tons of grain were transported by rail. The figure exceeds the volume of the previous month by 0.6%.

The average daily loading volume for the reporting period amounted to 90.4 thousand tons. This is 3.8% more than in April 2026.
