The Parliament supported in the second reading and in general the bill, which introduces an electronic excise tax stamp in Ukraine from January 1, 2026. The introduction of an electronic stamp will provide an opportunity to track the movement of alcohol, tobacco products, e-cigarette liquids from the manufacturer/importer to the final user; control the completeness and timeliness of payment of excise taxes for such goods. This also applies to goods from  Duty Free. In addition, every citizen will be able to identify products and check the legality of the origin of the goods.
