USAID co-finances 11 projects on flour enrichment

The USAID AGRO program will provide 41 million UAHto co-finance flour vitaminization projects. Flour enrichment (vitaminization) with micronutrients has long become a common practice in about 80 countries of the world. In order to provide Ukrainian flour milling enterprises with more opportunities for development and export in wartime conditions, the USAID AGRO Program will co-finance 11 (eleven) flour enrichment projects with a total budget of up to 41 million UAH. This will make Ukrainian products more competitive and called-up in new international markets, expand the assortment and increase the volume of processing.

In the conditions of complicated logistics, low grain prices and limited export, the production of vitaminized flour will contribute to the improvement of sales channels and markets, will expand the access of micro, small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises (MSMEs) - grain producers to flour milling enterprises and establish long-term cooperation.
