The U.S. will not impose customs duties on goods of Ukrainian entrepreneurs worth up to $800

The U.S. will not impose a 10% customs duty on goods from Ukrainian entrepreneurs valued up to $800. Customs duties will be applied to goods exceeding this value.

“All imports to the U.S. will face a minimum 10% customs duty. However, the $800 (de minimis) duty-free limit will remain in place until the Secretary of Commerce determines that a functional system for tracking and collecting duties on these goods has been implemented. Thus, no customs duties will be required for goods valued under $800,” according to a statement from “Ukrposhta”.

“Ukrposhta” noted that the duty-free limit could be eliminated by a decision of the Secretary of Commerce, but no specific timeline for this change was provided.
