In December, wheat exports from Ukraine amounted to 335.5 thousand tons and were sharply concentrated in the direction of North Africa and the Middle East, which together accounted for about 86% of total exports.
Asian destinations accounted for only 3.5% of exports. Europe’s share was minimal – 1.7%. Overall, the structure of December wheat exports demonstrates high regional concentration and dependence on demand from North African and MENA countries.
Wheat prices in the direction of ports and for export continued to decline last week.
The spot price index for food wheat (11.5% protein) with delivery CPT-port decreased by $3 – to $212, while feed wheat lost $3, falling to the level of $206.
