Since the entry into force of Ukraine’s Law No. 4536-IX on 4 September 2025, Ukrainian agricultural producers have exported more than 1 million tonnes of soybeans and rapeseed.

The law introduced an export duty on these oilseed crops. At the same time, agricultural producers who export crops they have grown themselves, as well as agricultural cooperatives exporting products grown by their members, are exempt from paying this duty.

Thanks to this mechanism, farmers have already received relief from export duty payments totaling more than 345 million UAH, while traders have paid 742.7 million UAH in export duties to the state budget.
