In 2024, Ukrainian exporters sent 7.2 thousand tons of butter to foreign markets, which is 7.7% less than the previous year. However, in monetary terms, butter exports increased by 17% compared to 2023, reaching $48.9 million. The largest buyers of Ukrainian butter in 2024 were Moldova (43.9%), Azerbaijan (14.5%), and Bulgaria (7.6%).
Meanwhile, butter imports in 2024 declined, decreasing by 3.7% compared to the previous year, to 2.6 thousand tons. However, its value increased by 12% compared to 2023, totaling $18.6 million. In 2024, the largest suppliers of butter to Ukraine were the Netherlands (26.4%), Germany (19.5%), and Poland (19.4%).
