Ukrainian export to the EU increased by 44%

According to the results of the first 6 months of 2021, Ukrainian export to the EU increased by 43,9% and amounted to 11,87 billion US dollars.

As reported by “Evropeiska pravda”, this is stated on the website of the State Statistics Service.

Thus, the share of export to the EU in the structure of Ukrainian export amounted to 39,7%.

The majority of Ukrainian goods were exported to Poland (2,3 billion US dollars), Italy (1,5 billion US dollars), Germany (1,2 billion US dollars) and the Netherlands (1 billion US dollars).

At the same time Poland remains the second market in terms of Ukrainian exports after China (4,2 billion US dollars). The top-5 key foreign markets of Ukraine also include Turkey (1,8 billion US dollars), Russia (1,5 billion US dollars) and the above mentioned Italy.

At the same time import of goods from the EU to Ukraine increased by 26,3% and amounted to 12,96 billion US dollars (the share in the structure of Ukrainian import - 41,5%).

In general, Ukrainian export in the first 6 months this year increased by 30,7% and amounted to 29,9 billion US dollars. At the same time import to Ukraine increased by 28% and amounted to 31,2 billion US dollars.
