Ukraine is actively introducing a new practice of representing its agricultural interests abroad – work has begun in diplomatic and trade missions to create positions of agricultural attachés. These specialists will be responsible for promoting the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, as well as for expanding cooperation and concluding new trade agreements with other countries.

Agricultural attachés will be engaged in market analysis, support of national producers, and assistance in resolving issues related to access of products to foreign markets. In addition, their work will contribute to a faster response to trade barriers and increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian agricultural products.
