Ukraine's turnover in eight months reached 65,6 billion US dollars

The turnover of Ukraine for January - August 2023 amounted to 65,6 billion US dollars, which is 3% more than in the same period last year.

During January-August 2023, Ukraine has imported goods in the amount of 41,1 billion US dollars, and exported them in the amount of 24,5 billion US dollars.

At the same time, the volume of taxed imports amounted to 33,6 billion US dollars, or 82% of the total volume of imported goods. The tax burden on 1 kg of taxed imports was 0,47 USD/kg, which is 48% more than in 8 months of 2022.

The most goods were imported from China (6,5 billion US dollars), Poland (4,4 billion US dollars) and Turkey (3,4 billion US dollars).

Ukraine exported the most to Poland (3,4 billion US dollars), Romania (2,6 billion US dollars) and China (1,8 billion US dollars).

In the total volume of goods imported in January - August 2023, 66% fell to such categories as machinery, equipment and transport (for 12,3 billion US dollars), chemical industry products (for 7,4 billion US dollars), and fuel and energy goods (for 7 billion US dollars).

The top three positions of Ukrainian export of goods include food products (for 14,6 billion US dollars), metals and products from them (2,7 billion US dollars), machines, equipment and transport (2,1 billion US dollars).
