During January 2026, goods worth $6.7 billion were imported into Ukraine, while exports amounted to $3.2 billion.
At the same time, taxed imports amounted to $4.4 billion, which accounts for 66% of the total volume of imported goods.
The countries from which the largest volume of goods was imported to Ukraine were: China – $1.9 billion, Turkey – $703 million, Poland – $623 million.
The largest exports from Ukraine went to: Poland – $358 million, Turkey – $276 million, Italy – $232 million.
In the total volume of goods imported in January 2026, 69% consisted of the following categories of goods: machinery, equipment and transport – $2.7 billion; fuel and energy – $1.1 billion; chemical industry products – $869 million.
The top three most exported goods from Ukraine included: food products – $2 billion; metals and products made from them – $286 million; machinery, equipment and transport – $253 million.
In January 2026, during customs clearance of exports of goods subject to export duty, UAH 187.1 million was paid to the budget.
