In September 2025, Ukraine exported 220,194 thousand tons of rapeseed, which is almost three times less than in the same period of 2024, when 705,371 thousand tons were exported.

One of the key factors in the export decline was the introduction of an export duty on rapeseed and soybean seeds, which took effect on September 4, 2025. The duty rate is 10% and will gradually decrease to 5% by 2030.
