Ukraine’s agricultural exports decreased by 24% but are expected to grow

In June 2025, Ukraine exported 3.4 million tons of agricultural products, a 23.8% decrease compared to the previous month.

The structure of agricultural exports in June 2025 was as follows:

  • Cereals: 2.2 million tons (corn – 62%, wheat – 37%), a 26% drop from the previous month.
  • Oilseeds: 316,300 tons (soybeans – 94%, rapeseed – 5%), an 8% increase.
  • Vegetable oils: 356,500 tons (sunflower oil – 89%, soybean oil – 11%), a 32% drop.
  • Oilseed meal: 387,800 tons (sunflower – 69%, soybean – 31%), a 14% drop.
  • Other agricultural products: 284,600 tons, a 26% drop.

In July 2025, export volumes are expected to increase due to the start of the winter crop harvest, which will traditionally boost shipments of wheat, rapeseed, and barley.
