In 2023/24, Ukraine will remain the leader in the export of sunflower oil on the world market with a share of up to 37% (against 35% in 2022/23).

It is expected that about 4,5 million tons of Ukrainian sunflower oil (+2%) can be shipped to foreign markets in the new season.

The expected increase in sunflower production to 12,8 million tons (+12%) and the relatively stable processing of this oil mill (about 11,3 million tons, which is 2% higher than the indicator in the current season) will help to maintain the primacy in the next season.

The volumes of soy and rapeseed processing in Ukraine may also increase slightly and will amount to about 1,5 million tons (+4%) and 0,2 million tons (+18%), respectively.
