Ukraine will receive 5,306 permits in 2026 for international freight transport between member countries of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT), which can be used by vehicles with zero emission levels. 

This was reported by the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development following the first meeting of the Road Transport Group of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport. 

Following the meeting, it was decided to maintain the coefficient for Euro-6 environmental category permits at the level of 14 for 2027. In 2027, the distribution of permits for Ukraine will be carried out exclusively for the Euro-6 category. 

Ukraine has become one of the most active countries that started working in the ECMT digital system from January 1, 2026. Ukraine also remains among the leaders in the number of registered carriers, the number of vehicles, and the volume of performed transport operations since the beginning of 2026. Only carriers from Turkey are ahead of Ukraine in these indicators.
