Ukrainian companies spent $669.4 million on electricity imports in 2024. The reason for this is the record-high levels of electricity imports and a change in its price compared to 2023. At the same time, electricity exports brought in $81 million last year. Throughout 2023-2024, Ukraine had a negative balance in foreign trade of electrical energy.
