In the first half of June 2025, foreign trade in dairy products reached $19.5 million, a 29% decrease compared to the first half of May.
The industry association noted that dairy export volumes decreased by 44%, while import volumes dropped by 4%. The export-to-import ratio in June was 0.96, compared to 1.6 in May and 1.2 in April.
In the export structure, the share of non-condensed milk and cream decreased by 47%, condensed milk and cream by 58%, whey by 50%, and butter/dairy fats by 51%, while cheese exports remained nearly unchanged.
Meanwhile, imports of fermented dairy products and cheeses each decreased by 6%.
