Ukraine and Germany have agreed to apply a supplement to the international certificate for the importation (shipment) into Ukraine of milk, milk-based products, and products derived from milk.

This was made possible thanks to effective cooperation between Ukraine’s State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and Germany’s Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) regarding the continued supply of safe, sufficiently processed products. The corresponding decision ensured the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 537 on providing interstate guarantees of sufficient processing of products during martial law. This allowed market operators to resume importing sufficiently processed products from Germany, thereby continuing to supply the population with food, including baby food.
