Ukraine reduces the wheat exports

The Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine informs on its Facebook page that Ukraine is reducing its exports of wheat: in April, the average daily shipment of this product for export decreased three times in comparison to March.

 It is said in the announcement that the pace of wheat deliveries slows down (the average daily shipment of this product for export in March was 44 thousand tons and in April it is only 14 thousand tons, in particular, 7 thousand tons during the previous day.

In total from the beginning of 2019/2020 marketing year (MY has started on July 1, 2019) and as of April 6, Ukraine has exported 17,9 million tons of wheat. The representatives of the Ministry say that the exports contracts are executed in accordance with the Memorandum of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine and Ukrainian grain market participants.

Let us remember that the Ministry has signed the Memorandum about restricting the cereal crops exports.
