Ukraine reduced the import of buttermilk by 9,2% in 8 months

In January-August 2023, Ukraine imported 5,9 thousand tons of buttermilk, fermented or fermented milk and cream, which is 9,2% less than in the same period last year.

In monetary terms, 11,7 million US dollars was spent on import in eight months - 14,7% more than in January-August 2022.

Ukraine bought most of these products in Poland (45,7%), Belgium (33,5%) and Germany (18,7%).

During the eight months of 2023, Ukraine has exported 2,1 thousand tons of buttermilk, fermented or fermented milk and cream, which is 5% more than in the same period last year.

In monetary terms, export made it possible to receive 2,7 million US dollars - 15,6% less than in January-August 2022.

The main buyers of Ukrainian buttermilk, fermented or fermented milk and cream in January-August were Moldova (90,8%), UAE (7%) and Armenia (1%).
