Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises, based on the results of January 2025, reduced the export of commercial cast iron by 9.6% compared to January 2024 – to 128.59 thousand tons. Compared to the previous month, shipments increased by 1.6%.

The key destination for Ukrainian cast iron exports remains the United States – 115.35 thousand tons, accounting for 89.7% of the total shipment volume. A small portion of supplies went to EU countries – the Netherlands (4.97 thousand tons) and Poland (4.48 thousand tons). The revenue of Ukrainian companies from cast iron exports in January reached $51.58 million, which is 3.2% more y./y. and 3.4% more m./m.
