Ukraine introduced quotas for sugar and poultry meat exports to the EU due to the completion of ATM

Ukraine has introduced a quota for exports to the European Union in 2025 of 11,007.5 tons of sugar, meat and edible poultry offal: chickens, ducks, geese and guinea fowl – 51,071 tons, including frozen – 11,655 tons.

According to it, a quota of 1,439 tons has also been established for the export of turkey meat and edible offal to the EU.

The new resolution states that licensing of sugar exports according to the approved quota will be introduced by August 5, 2025. The volume of this quota is distributed by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy among sugar exporters in proportion to the actual volumes of its exports to the EU for the first 5 months of 2025.

Licensing of poultry and turkey meat exports is introduced until December 31, 2025. At the same time, the volume of quotas is distributed for the period until September 30 in the amount of 30,000 tons, and for the period from October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 in the amount of 22,500 tons. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy distributes it among exporters in proportion to the actual volumes of exports of the specified products to the EU for the first 4 months of 2025.

The reserve quota volume (1,071 tons) is distributed among exporters who did not export the specified products for 4 months of 2025.
