Exports of greenhouse vegetables from Ukraine continued to grow in the second half of 2024, but slowly.

In 2022, export volumes fell significantly, and in 2023-2024 they began to grow, but not at a very significant pace, sufficient for Ukraine to once again enter the number of net exporters of greenhouse products. For example, in May 2023, more than 200 tons of Ukrainian greenhouse cucumber went to the market of Estonia and Poland.

90% of exports of Ukrainian greenhouse products are cucumbers and tomatoes. Cucumbers are exported mainly in the first half of the year, tomatoes in the second. It is noted that over the past three years, the import of greenhouse vegetables to Ukraine reached 170,000 tons annually.
