In July 2025, Ukraine exported approximately 1,980 tonnes of live-weight cattle, a 62% increase compared to June 2025 and a 14% increase compared to July 2024.
Revenue from exported animals reached $4.19 million, which is 24% less than in June 2025 but 32% more than in July 2024. From January to July 2025, Ukraine exported 11,710 tonnes of live-weight cattle (+72%) for a total of $25.65 million (+111%).
From January to July 2025, Ukraine shipped 101 tonnes of chilled beef to foreign markets (-89%) for $587,000 (-89%).
The volume of frozen beef exports from Ukraine in July 2025 was 1,680 tonnes, up 4% from June 2025 but down 1% from July 2024. Revenue from these exports was nearly $7.56 million, a 48% decrease compared to June 2025 and a 9% decrease compared to July 2024.
From January to July 2025, Ukraine exported 11,270 tonnes of frozen beef (+21%) for $45.14 million (+17%).
From January to July 2025, Ukraine increased imports of live-weight cattle to 494 tonnes (+36%), chilled beef to 80 tonnes (+10%), and reduced imports of frozen beef to 941 tonnes (-36%) compared to the same period last year.
